Robotlegs is a framework developed specifically for AS3 and as such is coded in a more AS3 friendly way than non native frameworks like pureMVC.

There is now a signals extension for Robotlegs which combines two of my favorite AS3 innovations of recent times. The Signals extension provides a SignalCommandMap which as its name implies executes commands upon signal dispatch.
